What is a Lumen?
In the world of Godland, the general term for a magical being made of light is a Lumen. Lumens are not humans; they are celestial beings whose physical forms glow based on the feelings in their hearts. When a Lumen feels joy, their light shines bright gold. When they feel sadness, their light dims to a soft lavender mist. The different classes of Lumens include Angels, Fairies, and Pixies.
1. The Angels of Skyreach
Angels are the keepers of human emotional blueprints in Godland. They work closely with the Wonder Workshop to gather materials needed for hearts. Unlike traditional mythological angels, Godland’s angels are active, busy scholars. They keep record books of human kindness, manage the dream bubbles, and operate the massive waterfalls of mending that run through the city. They are gentle, wise, and highly organized—though they occasionally have their hands full keeping track of the younger fairies!
2. The Fairies of Godland
Fairies are the dynamic, playful force in Skyreach. They are responsible for harvesting celestial elements—like starlight, mist, and the magical Glowdrops—that are used to power the city and forge hearts. Our main character, Sparkles, is a young fairy. Fairies have wings made of pure light and carry custom Treasure Bags. Fairies are highly curious, which sometimes leads to magic mistakes (like opening forbidden doors!), but their courage and loyalty are unmatched.
3. The Playful Pixies
Pixies are the smallest and most mischievous inhabitants of Skyreach. They operate the machinery of Godland. If a gear is turning in the Wonder Workshop, or if a bubble projector is running in the Dream Department, you can bet a pixie is running it. Pixies speak in whistles and chirps and love to play lighthearted pranks on the angels. However, when things go wrong, their quick hands and clever minds make them excellent problem-solvers.

Whether they are a wise angel, a curious fairy, or a clever pixie, all beings in Skyreach share one common belief: every heart begins with kindness, courage, and hope.
